Autonomy changes the risk model

As an ethical hacker, I feel into this one habit: never look at a system the way it was designed to be used.

You always need to look for the gap between what the designed assumed and what’s actually possible. This is the gap where every vulnerability lives. For 15 years, this mindset made me good at breaking things. Whenever I would encounter something new, I started asking: where’s the door someone forgot to lock?

Last year, I started looking at AI agents the same way. An agent that reads emails, calls APIs, browses the web, and talks to other agents over MVP (doing it all autonomously, with no human in sight, by the way).

Well, this is an attacker’s invitation. An attacker could simply get text into your agent’s context window and tell it what to do. Literally.

The next generation of offensive capability isn’t coming for your endpoints, but for your agents. How are you protecting your agents from attackers? I wanted to answer this question. This is how Secure Agentics was born.
